Gergenti, Frappato 2023

The name for Gergenti was taken from the old Sicilian name for the town of Agrigento, where Gergenti's winery is still located today. Producing approachable, authentically Sicilian wines, Gergenti use some of the best organically farmed grapes on the island in their wines. This Gergenti Frappato, made by organically grown grapes, embodies the unique charm of Sicily. Red ruby colour, the nose is fresh and fruity with notes of blueberries, redcurrant and some baking spice. The palate is medium bodied, with soft tannins, a vibrant acidity and pleasantly long finish.
